Our Founder: Jackson's Story
Jackson Davies, the founder of ThreatGrid (TGIT), came from a long-standing government IT background, where he spent years building, securing, and maintaining critical infrastructure. While the work was meaningful, Jackson eventually felt the weight of bureaucracy and the limitations of working within rigid systems.
Driven by a desire to innovate, move faster, and deliver real impact for businesses, he left the government sector to start his own IT practice under his private name. After several successful years of independent consulting, he officially launched TGIT (ThreatGrid IT) in 2024 — with the vision of building a high-performance, security-first IT firm that could serve Canadian businesses with more agility, transparency, and cutting-edge solutions.
Since leaving the government grind behind, Jackson has grown ThreatGrid steadily — earning the trust of law firms, healthcare clinics, contractors, and professional service clients across Alberta. He is proud of the progress and even prouder of the team behind the mission.
